Joss Whedon & Friends @ the alibi Spring Social

Friday night we had our booth in operation, pumpin' out the strips, for those attending the weekly alibi Spring Social at the Launchpad in downtown ABQ.  Now, most people who live here in New Mexico know that a lot of movies and television shows get filmed here due to our wide-open spaces and lucrative tax breaks.  So, is it any wonder that we'd get a few movie industry folks in the booth from time to time?  Well, this time it was none other than the legendary Mr. Joss Whedon who's in town directing the soon-to-be blockbuster Avengers movie!  We can't wait to see this flick!

This past Sunday we had the privilage of placing our photo booth in the middle of an awesome concert put on by Albuquerque radio station The Peak, featuring music by Sara Bareilles, Plain White T's, Big Head Todd (but no Monsters), Hedley, Ryan Star, Hope, and Christina Perri. After a really great acoustic version of her set, Christina Perri was kind of enough to jump into the booth with some of her biggest fans, making their day...And ours!

Photobooth Rentals of New Mexico teamed up with Big I 107.9 http://www.bigi1079.com to give free pictures out at the Tim McGraw Concert on June 2. Morning show hosts Tony Lynn and Myles got their pictures taken, along with hundreds of other country music fans. Check out the mullets!!! Good thing the guys had the photobooth to document those wicked cuts...

Photobooth Rentals of New Mexico will be at the following concerts this summer at the Journal Pavilion: Sugarland on Thursday, June 29th Toby Keith on Thursday, August 12th Brad Praisley on Sunday,  September 19th Rascal Flatts on Thursday,  October 21st
